Prior to downloading and installing the listening software, you are directed to carefully review the "Terms of Use" and in particular that portion thereof entitled "Notice specific to software available on this website" published by Olympus America, Inc. to be found at Olympus America Terms. This Link will open up the Olympus Terms and Use Agreement in a new window. Once you are done reviewing the agreement you can close the window and continue.

By clicking on the link below labeled "I Agree" you are certifying that you have read and agree to be bound by the aforesaid "Terms of Use" and you are also agreeing to release and hold harmless the Village of Weston, its officers, agents and employees of and from any and every claim, demand, right or cause of action of whatever kind of nature by reason of any damage that may result to a user’s PC or software in downloading and/or installing the listening software and the Village of Weston audio minutes.

DSS Audio Player Lite
In order to listen to the Village of Weston audio minutes you must first download and install the DSS Player Lite software from Olympus. This procedure only needs to be done once. If you have already installed the player close this windows and go directly to the audio link you wish to listen to on the previous page.

Once you click on the "I Agree" link below you will be prompted to save the file "dsslite.exe" to your local hard drive. Remember where you are saving this file as you will need to run it once the download is complete. To install the software just double click on the dsslite.exe file you downloaded. Once the program has started you can select all the defaults as it walks you through the install wizard.

The software is approximately 2.1 MB and will take anywhere from 2 to 20 minutes to download based on end-user connectivity.

Once the software is installed you can click on the audio minutes link and select "Save". The audio file of the most recent meeting will be downloaded to your local hard drive. Again, remeber where you are saving the file. When the download is completed just double click on minutes.dss file and it will open automatically in the DSS Player Lite. If you want to have the file open as soon as it is downloaded select "Open" instead of "Save" when prompted. Meeting audio minutes are anywhere from 2-5 MB in size and can take from 2-45 minutes to download based on end-user connectivity.
