Experience the Village of Weston's newest recreational opportunity, the Eau Claire River Trail. This 1.25-mile walking and biking trail winds along the beautiful Eau Claire River in the heart of the Village of Weston. The trail was constructed in 2003 to add a unique outdoor experience for Village of Weston residents and visitors. No fees are required to utilize the Eau Claire River Trail.
The Eau Claire River Trail can be accessed from trailheads on Ryan Street, Brook Court and Tricia Avenue. At the Ryan Street trailhead, bikers can also access the 77-mile Mountain Bay Trail which heads east to Green Bay.
The Eau Claire River Trail offers park benches and picnic tables so bring a picnic lunch and let the kids wade in the water. Bring a blanket and a good book to spend a relaxing summer afternoon by the river. Grab your walking shoes or bike and experience nature at its finest.

Mountain Bay Trail
A great bicycle adventure awaits you on the Mountain Bay Trail, the State of Wisconsin's longest off-road bicycle trail at 77 miles. The Mountain Bay Trail meanders through a pleasant mix of farm fields and meadows as well as through lush wooded areas. The Trail boasts more than 20 bridges along the route, allowing bikers to experience both the beauty and tranquility of rural Wisconsin.
The Village of Weston features the western-most Trail Head with parking available. Head east, and you'll eventually end up in Green Bay. The Village has plans to develop a scenic local bike trail along the Eau Claire River in the near future, which will link cyclists to the Mountain Bay Trail.
A State of Wisconsin Trail Pass is required and may be obtained at the Trail Head or at any State DNR office. Daily or seasonal passes are available.
