The Everest Metro Police Department (EMPD) is one of the few multi-community law enforcement agencies in the State of Wisconsin, serving the communities of the City of Schofield, and the Village and Town of Weston. These communities have a combined population of approximately 16,000 residents. The EMPD service area is comprised of a thriving business community, expanding manufacturing and technology parks and residential neighborhoods. The mission of the EMPD is to protect the citizens' right to be free from crime.
